RootSkills is a two day networking and training event with ample opportunity to relax and connect with fellow organizers. We strive to provide tasty (local, where possible) food, inspiring entertainment and comfortable sleeping arrangements on Friday. In addition to an Community Organizing Clinic with our friends at Toxics Action Center, we will be looking at regional visions & strategies across the different issue areas and tie it back to community efforts as part of Friday evenings conversation(s).
On Saturday we start registration ay 8am with the option to attend an early bird session on 'herbal and nutritional strategies to nourish ourselves as sustainable leaders'. The official welcome and start is 9am. Participants have a choice from 4 daylong workshop tracks. We ask that you stay within your workshop track as information and excercises build on each other throughout the day. Multiple people from one group are very welcome to join us, in fact we even encourage so that the group can be exposed to multiple tracks.
