A historic day of rallying, around the world, on climate! Join us in
Northfield, Vermont. Sponsored by Norwich University's new Center for Global
Resilience and Security, it will be a day of inspiring and short presentations by local
action teams (CROs), resource providers and academic researchers (ARC), along
with a noon keynote on social engagement from Rebecca Sanborn Stone. Including
time for exchange between CROs and ARC members and team action planning, the
day is designed for people to attend both the Summit to plan local action and to join
the Climate Rally at the Montpelier Statehouse.
A day of short, inspiring presentations by local action teams (CROs), resource providers, and academic researchers (ARC), plus noon lecture on social engagement by Rebecca Sanborn Stone. Presentations on ecological solutions, water, and energy resilience, as well as cybersecurity and art integration. Informational showcase on housing, water, energy, climate, food systems, hazard mitigation, etc. from state agency experts and non-profit groups. The CROs and ARC Summit is slated to end early enough to allow participants to join the Climate Rally at the Montpelier Statehouse.
