Join us on the Northeast Climate Ride and help us raise funds for grassroots sustainability initiatives throughout New England! From September 17th - 21st we'll be riding 390 miles along the beautiful North Atlantic coastline from Bar Harbor, ME to Boston, MA. 

To Join Our Team:

Step 1: Visit our page on the Climate Ride website and select Join Our Team. 

Step 2: Pay the $100 registration fee and commit to raising $2,800 (or more!) by December 1, 2015. Select "New England Grassroots Environment Fund" as the beneficiary organization. 

Step 3: Start training and fundraising! We'll help promote your fundraising campaign too.

If you are a Grassroots Fund grantee, we also invite you to join us to raise funds directly for your group's work. Here's how it works:  

If you are one of our grantees, we can share 50% of the proceeds we receive from your fundraising efforts. Please note that this is not 50% of the funds you raise directly, as a portion of the funds will go directly to Climate Ride to cover event costs and fees. To estimate how much funding you could receive, you can use the following formula:

Funds You Raise - $1,400 (Estimated Event Cost & Fees Per Participant) X .80 X .50 = Funds Your Group Will Receive

Please note that this is an estimate and Climate Ride reserves the right to make final determinations on event cost and fees based on the total number of particpants. 

To Join Us AND Raise Funds For Your Effort:

Step 1: Contact Leigh@grassrootsfund.org to let us know that you are interested in fundraising for your group.

Step 2: Register for our team as described above. Just make sure to select "New England Grassroots Environment Fund" as the sole beneficiary. 

Step 3: Start training and fundraising!

Step 4: We will provide your group with a check based on your fundraising efforts in January 2016.
