Our purpose is to provide alternatives to mainstream culture. MIPSTERZ is an award-winning arts and culture collective with origins in Cambridge, MA and fourteen years of experience building community, incubating creativity, and amplifying marginalized voices. We create participatory cultural experiences that help people feel seen, welcome, and connected—especially people whose identities, histories, and creative work have been excluded from the mainstream. Our work has appeared at Tribeca Film Festival, Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, Smithsonian Design Museum, The Shed, and the Museum of the City of New York with support from the Doris Duke, Barr, and San Francisco Foundations.
