Our mission is to assist in the preservation of Tyngsborough's rural characher through sound conservation practices. Our goals include preservation of exisiting open space, creation of an organization capable and willing to accept doantions and conservation restrictions on new open space and publicizing that these lands exist for enjoyment of everyone. I tell this story quite a bit: When I first moved to Tyngsborough with my family, I wanted to get outdoors and on the trails. There seemed to be a fair amount of land that could be public, but without much in the way of clear signage or trail heads, I jsut didn't know where I was welcome. The TLT seeks to ensure that all members of the public feel welcome on public lands, no matter if they are new to Town, have been here forever or need a little extra help accessing public outdoor spaces. Nature is for everyone.
