Violet’s Village was created from the belief that every child, family, and community member deserves access to safe, affirming, and creative spaces where they can grow, connect, and celebrate their heritage. Our overall goal is to build a stronger village of support around young people and families by creating opportunities that nurture confidence, leadership, creativity, wellness, and community connection.We formed this group because we recognized that many families, especially those from historically underserved communities, often lack access to affordable, culturally responsive, and community-rooted programs. We wanted to create something intentional, a space where people feel seen, valued, and empowered rather than overlooked.Through our work, we aim to strengthen community relationships, encourage youth voice and leadership, and provide experiences that help participants build life skills, self-expression, and a sense of belonging. We believe meaningful change happens when communities are given opportunities to gather, collaborate, and invest in one another.The funds would help support our 8 week summer program, where we aim to connect campers to nature through gardening.
