Our Purpose

Our Fire Collective (OFC) operates at the intersection of healing justice and workforce equity by curating immersive group gatherings and community-building rooted in culturally sustaining resilience practices. OFC emboldens care workers—primarily educators and frontline health workers—to integrate relational and healing strategies into their professional lives. Our Fire Collective organizes through cultural means with care workers to confront the normalization of burnout, trauma, and dehumanization in education and healthcare. Public education and health professionals are asked to hustle without systemic support to heal themselves, despite frequent exposure to trauma in under‑resourced communities. OFC responds by building collective power through healing‑centered organizing that restores agency, purpose, and solidarity. Our Fire Collective builds power and cultural renaissance in the workplace through deep collaboration with education, healthcare, labor, and healing justice partners.
