We are starting the North Country Kitchen Collaborative to meet a growing need for commercial kitchens. Many food entrepreneuers are working under a cottage license, which limits where and how they can sell their products to customers. They also lack the funds to buy kitchen equipment. Our organization and space removes those barriers. Our formal mission: North Country Kitchen Collective supports local food and agricultural entrepreneurs in the White Mountains of New Hampshire by providing access to a fully licensed shared commercial kitchen, technical resources, and a collaborative environment that helps small food businesses launch, grow, and increase regional access to locally made, high-quality foods.Our Vision: To be a catalyst for an inclusive, thriving food economy in New Hampshire's North Country, empowering entrepreneurs to launch and grow successful food businesses, provide food-related educational opportunities, support the viability of local farmers and food producers, and keep money circulating within our rural community.
