The Society of Sustainable Spartans (SOSS) was formed to educate and facilitate sustainable practices that aim to mitigate some of the negative impacts of climate change. Since it's inception, SOSS has been resposnible for our building's conversion to LED lights, use of reusable lunch trays, implementation of recycling, and a permanent solar energy project for the school that is currently still in limbo as to whether or not it will truly be carried out. However, despite funding woes and set back here and there, the mission remains to articulate the opportance of the planet's health, which in turn correlates to our health, by spreading the knowlege of creating a more sustainable lifestyle across all facets of life.
