Our purpose is to combine the joy of sceintific investigation with the power of performance art to engage students and their communities in their local ecosystems.  Ten years ago we partnerered with Echo Science center in order to provide a unique educational experience to groups in rural Vermont. Our pilot year and culiminating festival was so scucessful, that we have maintained offering the Waterways Stage Programming to groups for 11 continuous years. Our overarching goals are; hands-on nature learning, inclusion, collaboration, and youth empowerment.  We meet these goals by partnering with local scientists, providing free programing to any interested groups, making sure each student takes center stage, and creating a safe community where all are encouraged. These goals help us stay focused on our purpose; to engage children with eachother and the natural world in order to empower eachother, improve mental health and heal our earth.
