The Arcs of Love Foundation’s big picture goal is to create a more compassionate, resilient community by ensuring no one feels isolated in times of hardship. We formed because too many families in Lawrence and surrounding areas fall through the cracks during life’s most vulnerable moments—whether facing grief, caregiving stress, or systemic barriers to opportunity.Through our four pillars—Arcs of Comfort, Arcs of Care, Arcs of Support, and Arcs of Action—we bring practical aid and human connection together. Our work supports grieving families, isolated elders, new parents, and low-income students, while mobilizing volunteers to be active participants in building a community of care.At its core, our goal is to shift from crisis-driven, temporary solutions to long-term resiliency: empowering families to thrive, young people to pursue education, and neighbors to support one another. We want to model a “living economy of care” where relationships, mutual aid, and equity are the foundation of community well-being.
