Cape Cod’s Trees for Tomorrow Inc. was founded to address the urgent environmental crisis threatening Cape Cod’s native forests, coastal dunes, and fragile habitats. Rapid urban development, climate change, and increased storms are causing deforestation, erosion, and habitat loss at an alarming rate. The trees that once shaded our neighborhoods and protected our sandy trails are disappearing, and with them goes the biodiversity that depends on healthy ecosystems—songbirds, butterflies, turtles, bees, and more.Our project is designed to reverse this trend by restoring native ecosystems through community-led tree planting, dune restoration, and environmental education. We are developing easy-to-use Restoration Packages: kits containing carefully selected native tree saplings, coastal dune plants, and eco-friendly supplies paired with clear, accessible planting guides. These kits empower local residents, schools, and neighborhood groups to take direct action to restore Cape Cod’s natural resilience.In a changing climate where storms grow fiercer and droughts more frequent, Cape Cod’s Trees for Tomorrow Inc. offers a scalable, replicable, and locally grounded solution. Every tree planted, every dune restored, and every person engaged brings us closer to safeguarding Cape Cod’s environment, wildlife, and future.
