Delta Omicron Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated
Our Purpose
Delta Omicron Zeta Chapter’s environmental health initiative began with a simple mission: to clean up our community and create safer, more beautiful neighborhoods for all, especially for our children. Through our Adopt-a-Highway commitment on Morton Street, we’ve dedicated the first Saturday of each month, April through October, to picking up litter and promoting community pride. As we start our second year, we aim to expand our impact. While we don’t have a narrowly defined environmental goal, our broader vision is clear: we want to protect and enhance the spaces where we live and serve. By reducing pollution, increasing walkability, and inspiring others to take ownership of their surroundings, we hope to contribute to the health, safety, and well-being of our neighborhoods. With additional resources, we can amplify our efforts, engage more volunteers, and incorporate educational outreach to build a lasting culture of environmental responsibility.
