Little Lion Collective is a worker-owned pop-up vinyl bar and natural wine space in New Haven, CT, dedicated to building community-driven, inclusive spaces where people can gather over music, food, and drinks. As a cooperative, we are committed to an equitable business model that prioritizes BIPOC, queer, and women-identifying workers and customers, ensuring that hospitality spaces reflect the communities they serve.Our events showcase natural wines, nostalgic vinyl selections, and locally sourced food, partnering with small farms to feature their cheeses, cured meats, and beverage ingredients, further strengthening our commitment to a regional food system. By bridging music culture, sustainable agriculture, and cooperative economics, Little Lion reimagines what social spaces can be: rooted in community ownership, food sovereignty, and cultural expression.Through our three-phase growth model, we are transitioning from a mobile pop-up to a brick-and-mortar cooperative vinyl bar by 2026. With this evolution, we will expand our impact, create permanent jobs, build wealth within historically excluded communities, and strengthen local farm-to-table relationships.
