The mission of Evergreen Outdoor Education is to equip people of all ages and abilities with tangible outdoor leadership skills that inspire confidence, spark curiosity, and strengthen community.We are a community-driven organization that works with school-aged children, families, veterans, and folks on the Autism Spectrum to provide outdoor experiences, education, and skills development with a conservation message.We are beginning to restore and outdoor educational program/site called "The Land Lab". For years the Auburn land lab provided a place for community schools, local families, and organizations to get outdoors and have experiential learning opporunities. Due to city budgets cuts in 2013 the Land Lab was discontinued. Evergreen Outdoor Education has the opportunity to bring this resource back and manage it through the nonprofit organization.
