Our goal is to reduce our community’s reliance on fossil fuels, mitigate the inequitable social and economic impacts of climate change, and educate residents about sustainability while fostering lasting community action and connections with a diverse cross-section of our neighbors.This project empowers participants to build free and low-cost energy-saving interior storm windows, helping households lower heating costs and reduce carbon emissions. By bringing together diverse community groups—including immigrant organizations, the Concord Unitarian Universalist Church and other faith communities, local Lions Clubs, the NH Lions Green Team, as well as unaffiliated individuals—we will strengthen collaboration for future environmental service projects.Beyond completing this WindowDressers Build, we aim to establish lasting partnerships and an annual tradition of energy-saving initiatives, ensuring ongoing community engagement and impact.
