Our Purpose

Our purpose is to provide historically underserved people living in rural Vermont with accessible to herbal medicine and holistic wellness services. We have found that there is a large discrepency between the access that folks have to services in more populated areas, and those that are living farther away from centers of resource. In a world that is increasingly stressful as we all feel the effects of late-stage capitalism and a rapidly changing climate, having access to herbal medicine and holistic wellness services such as donation-based yoga classes and community meals is more important than ever. Specifically, the Tiny House Apothecary project is part of a larger vision: Heartsong Community Farm, which seeks to build community through community gatherings, meals, and nature-based connection programs. This funding would specifically support stocking the on-farm apothecary with herbal medicine and making it available to folks on a sliding-scale basis.
