Our purpose is to...Promoting Conflict Resolution, Inc. (PCR, Inc.) operates with a powerful and focused mission: unifying families through literacy and technology with a particular focus on reducing inner-city violence. We recognize that inner-city violence stems from a combination of factors, including economic disparity, educational shortcomings, social fragmentation, and lack of community support. The purpose of PCR, Inc. is to address these challenges at their core by equipping families with the necessary tools to strengthen their communication, embrace education, and effectively utilize technology.  Violence and conflict often result in trauma, both physical and emotional, which can have long-lasting effects on families and individuals. PCR, Inc. provides support to families dealing with trauma by offering access to counseling services, emotional support groups, and mental health resources. We work with licensed professionals to help families process their experiences and heal from the effects of violence and instability. We understand that unresolved trauma can contribute to a cycle of violence, and through trauma-informed programs, we strive to break this cycle. By addressing the emotional and psychological needs of both parents and children, we help families regain stability and foster environments where children can thrive emotionally and academically
