Community Pedal Power seeks to expand community cycling efforts, as part of helping transition community members away from cars to bicycles for transportation and recreation. We are focused on helping more individuals decide to make the transition to bikes, especially among families who might be considering a second car (or considering eliminating a second car.) Our approach is to combine family-focused events under the umbrella of Family Bike Ride with access-focused events, like our Cargo Bike Test Drive events and E-Bike Lending Library. The mission statement of our effort could broadly be summed up as "More Butts In Seats" -- bicycle seats, in particular.
