Our purpose is to...Marlboro Studio School is an arts program that welcomes people from all backgrounds to discover and strengthen their artistic voices in developing skills and working with their hands through studio classes, public lectures, workshops and residencies. We foster innovation and enrichment in traditional craft media and fine art techniques by supporting new, emerging, and career artists during all phases of their development. Our aim is to foster personal growth and creative discovery in a supportive setting for beginners and professional artists alike. Programming includes studio classes & workshops, public lectures, exhibitions, and artist residencies.For example this spring 2024 we will be offering a Green Woodworking class which promotes and enhances one's awareness of sustainable harvesting. In addition we will be offering a natural plant dyeing workshop which brings folks into their environment to collect and learn about the natural resources available in the craft making realm.
