Nurture by Nature was formed out of a desire to spread the joys of interacting with nature, creative expression and alternative therapeutic activities with individuals and groups around Maine. By creating and maintaining an accessible community garden space in Caribou, N x N aims to provide opportunities for all to experience the many physical, social, cognitive and emotional benefits of gardening. Produce from this inclusive garden is donated to local food pantries and organizations. Collaborating with artists and professionals in the area, we hold community events that encourage people to explore their creativity and relationships with personal wellness while emphasizing local resources, materials, and our connection to the natural world. Nurture by Nature is a Maine-based nonprofit invested in community wellness and personal discovery.
