Our purpose is to...Identify and repurpose underutilized urban lots into community gathering spaces for the performing and visual arts.  We promote a decentralized approach to creative expression, urban revitalization and beautification that is led by residents, neighborhood associations and includes disaffected and/or otherwise excluded groups such as tag artists, youth under 22 and street performers. Our first project is aimed at memorializing the greats of the  Greater Hartford area on the two adjacent walls of a former radio station in the Sheldon/Charter Oak area, with specific acknowledgement/reverence to Podunks, Saukiogs and others lost to history. We believe this and other efforts by our project will deepen the sense of collective ownership by all Greater Hartford residents.
