  • Environmental innovative action taken worldwide by BIPOC youth to help solve the climate crisis and social injustice

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to train and empower youth to be effective leaders in the intersections of environmental and climate justice. Our priority is to uplight and support the actions BIPOC youth are taking in regions worldwide. This is because BIPOC communities are disproportionately affected by climate change and typically have traditional knowledge of stewarding the land that creates a thriving environment. We currently provide mini-grants and mentors to help support these youths in executing their local projects. Their projects range from land stewardship, community care, mutual aid, education, nonviolent direct action, innovative energy solutions, divestment campaigns, street art, and more! We have an ongoing campaign as well that organizes these youth to show their world their projects on a joint global day of action. This year it was Nov. 12th and we had over 75 actions across the world. We plan to keep funding more projects and raise funds to further support lead staff organizers of this campaign. Our staff is mainly BIPOC youth under the age of 30, a direct representation of the youth we support. Our organization is the definition of thinking globally and acting locally. Our directors are located across the world in multiple countries in Africa, Europe, and also throughout South and North America.  Directors help support their local crews in planning and implementing actions that are innovative solutions to the climate crisis and social justice issues.
