Our purpose is to...My Social Services business/social enterprise would bring THRIVE New England's Anti-Human Trafficking program to Strafford County.  Our partnership would capitalize on the past 2 years of survivor leadership mentoring sponsorship to use my lived experience as a survivor to bring awareness to the issue and would work towards our goal of abolishing this modern-day slave trade through regional partnership and collaboration, prevention efforts, & survivor aftercare support.  Our next steps would include the documenting of my story, aas a trafficking survivor & explore the triumphs & setbacks survivors can experience as they embark.on a path of recovery.  The personal history will serve as a springboard for the creation and facilitation of prevention and awareness educational programs. The film or educational programs & series can be available for regional partners to utilize, such as the NH Task Force Against Human Trafficking, and will compliment survivor aftercare services including case management, advocacy, and referral coordination for access to basic needs, as well as individual peer-mentoring & any other stabilization services for survivors. I am currently completing my own mentored survivor leadership program through THRIVE New England & they have agreed to be a fiscal sponsor for grant applications.
