- Convening and organizing 3 public programs/rallies involving all coalition members near 2 or 3 of the 7 military sites in VT,
- Translating complex PFAS info into accessible formats to educate communities on the VT military use of PFAS and its contamination of our water/ecosystems, and its toxic effects on human health,
- Mobilizing and empowering the public and impacted communities to understand how to work with government to access information and with legislators to enact laws,
- Testing sample ground water, rivers/streams, and fish near VT military bases for PFAS contamination (i.e., citizen science) and publicizing the results through press conferences,
- Teaching coalition members how to utilize the media in order to educate about PFAS military contamination and influence public opinion, &
- Expanding our coalition to involve more affected individuals, building leadership skills and knowledge for all members.
