Our big picture goal is to turn a section of grass at Temple Israel into a permaculture garden that includes food for humans and for pollinators, and an attractive place for the community to be-- both the Temple Israel community and the neighborhood. The area is frequented by many kids walking to and from school, is next to a preschool and is home to an after-school music program that focuses on social justice. We want this space to be a resource to our community.
