Our simple purpose is to inspire and create more connections and direct to consumer relationships within our living food economy, both on a micro and macro-scale. Our goals are to empower every food eater to have equal access and responsibility to engage and ensure the integrity inhereint in the relationship with the grower/producer of our food and the overall health and sustenance that the grower's product provides its eaters. Vermont has a unique and very robust agricultural economy and yet there are many who go hungry and have inadequate access to the abundance of high quality, local food that VT provides. Our goal is to connect those individuals to more food outlets by directly involving interested volunteers to take part in the harvest! In exchange, participants receive food to take home and a lasting relationship with that food grower or producer where they can continue to procure goods directly and affordably from that producer.
