Our purpose is to... stop the cigarette butt liter in our city by providing appropriate recepticals for there disposal. Since Belfast is a small city on the bay it is urgent to keep the cigarette butts out of the water. By keeping them off the ground it helps save our environment from the more then 400 toxic chemicals found in used butts. We have then found a company that will recycle the butts rather then adding them to the landfills.
