Our purpose is to carry out the goals, spirit and effect of our community mission, by identifying and meeting the energy-related needs of Islesboro's private and nonprofit sectors; by serving the sustainability, welfare, health, and education of Islesboro's residents; by fostering stewardship of its natural ecosystem; by supporting its social and economic vitality; and by establishing and maintaining meaningful relationships in our community and with communities and organizations beyond ourselves.  IET's goal for 2019 is to meet our mission's guidelines by maintaining and building relationships that will sustain, foster and strengthen existing programs and enable ongoing program growth.
