Our Purpose

RSP educates and empowers black women regarding diseases of the reproductive system that disproportionately affect them. We approach these diseases and associated issues through a cultural and social justice lens, because we believe that poor knowledge of reproductive health is primarily related to racial, health care and socioeconomic disparities. During 2019 our community programming will emphasize: the role of health inequity, food injustice, the rise of diseases associated with environmental and chemical toxins, and the impact of stress, racism, gender and cultural silence.
