We are a small conservancy of volunteers dedicated to the permanent protection of land in the Sanford area for the benefit of citizens and native species and their habitats.  Emphasis is placed on public access and traditional low-impact uses.  This accomplished by hosting of recreational, educational and research activities for various groups in the community.  We advocate for the conservation of significant natural resources and encourage people of all ages to explore the natural world beyond the classroom and sidewalk.
