Our purpose is to create a dynamic and interactive science center which highlights the interrelationships of aquatic, marine and terrestrial environments, the role of weather and climate, and the use of space technology to aid in monitoring the health of our planet. We feel that it is important to educate in an entertaining way, and that our mission is especially critical at this time. Recent generations of "indoor children" have become more out of touch with the natural world, and it is important that we create awareness and appreciation of our planet and its ecosystems if we are to address the many vital issues affecting us.
