Our purpose is to educate and inform the local community of the importance and necessity of combating climate change. Our primary goal when the group began was to halt the proposed Spectra pipeline from being constructed and traversing the town of Norfolk and surrounding communities. From there the group has evolved to further educating the public about the negative impacts of fracking and gas pipelines as well as how important it is to move toward renewable energy sources to save us from additional harmful impacts to our enviornment, health and safety.
