The mission of the Bethel Energy Committee (BEC) is to review, facilitate, create, and inform the community of opportunities, projects and/or programs intended to increase the energy efficiency of public and private energy use within the town of Bethel.  The BEC goal is for Bethel to meet or exceed the goals of the 2016 Vermont Comprehensive Energy Plan (Required by V.S.A. 30 § 202b) through implementation of energy efficiency measures and an increased use of locally generated clean, renewable, and sustainable energy sources.
