Our Purpose

NACG's is a non-profit 501(c)(3)(1) organization dedicated to community gardens and has provided healthy food to our neighbors in need. NACG was founded to bring local, organic food to the food insecure and the greater community. NACG recognizes the physical, psychological, and emotional benefits of gardening and feeling connected to a community.  NACG has provided raised organic garden beds for rental and has grown and donated hundreds of pounds of fresh produce every year to North Attleborough's food pantry, Leonore's, since 2017. This summer NACG partnered with the School Department in their first year of the Summer Eats Program.  We donated over 150 pounds of produce to the Summer Eats program and additional produce to Leonore's' Pantry.  In the fall of 2019, NACG and a mom on a mission will help hungry North Attleboro school children and their families have access to healthy food.  NACG will purchase produce during the school year to augment the PTO's food pantry.  NACG's will purchase food for the panty keeping true to our founding principle to support our community farmer and North Attleborough entrepreneur.  NACG believes that the continued development of community outreach and creating many local partnerships will counteract the social and environmental challenges experienced on a world level through the local platform.
