Our purpose is to help immigrants and refugees navigate their housing issues with an emphasis on safety, housing fairness and affordability. We advocate to create an environment that is conducive to fair housing through policy change, grassroot organizing and community engagement. Our housing ambassadors program provides an opportunity to community members to be their own advocates and defenders of their rights. Housing safety is tackled through education on environment and health hazards related to housing conditions. Housing discrimination and housing abuses are issues identified as critical for the wellbeing of newcomers who are not most of the time aware of their rights and unaware of the issues pertaining to their housing safety.
