Our purpose is to improve the quality of the garden at the Irasburg Village School. Using the resources available to us last year, our garden was greatly depleted on account of groundhogs in the area who easily accessed the produce in the garden. Through the efforts and the continued collaboration of the students, faculty and staff at Irasburg Village School,we are confident that we will have a higher yeild this summer. The produce from the school garden goes to community members and to the school when it is back in session in the fall. This is a valuable resource to the comunity as a source of local food and as an educational tool for the students at Irasburg Village School.
