Our Purpose

  • Advise the Development Review Board on development projects that have the potential to impact lands in rural Williston,
  • Work to acquire and/or protect parcels where valuable natural resources are present,
  • Maintain and manage the town’s growing network of parks and trails, which includes 147 acres of parkland, 279 acres of conservation areas, and 10 miles of trails,
  • Monitor water quality in the Allen Brook watershed,
  • In coordination with the Department of Public Works, work to restore the health and natural flow of the impaired Allen Brook,
  • Engage and inform Williston residents and the public about natural resources in their community.
