The mission of Quahog Bay Conservancy (QBC) is to restore the once-pristine ecosystem of Quahog Bay to a robust and flourishing state. Through active restoration efforts, environmental education for the local community, and civic engagement, we work to conserve the natural habitat and native wildlife, revitalize the commercial fisheries and foster environmental stewardship that will protect the Bay for generations to come. To achieve lasting conservation efforts QBC works with scientists, community groups, and other foundations to improve and protect vital ecosystem functions of Quahog Bay. QBC is having a positive and lasting impact through using an integrated approach of science, education, outreach, and implementation of innovation solutions. Our goal is to make significant ecological improvements, engage the community and help inspire adjacent communities to take similar environmental action.
