Our Purpose

The purpose of the Hope House Gardens is to create an inviting space on the property of Hope House, a residential building for legal asylum seekers (primarily from Central Africa) where these individuals can learn to grow vegetables and enjoy the outdoors. The gardens will also be a place to gather with friends and volunteers who mentor residents and assist them with learning English, navigating the legal system and job preparation.
