Our Purpose

We are a community group made up of residents, homeowners, and business owners of Rehoboth, Seekonk, and Attleboro, MA, that formed in May 2016 in opposition to Spectra Energy’s Access Northeast. From the start, we have been focused on raising local awareness about the negative impacts of fracked NG infrastructures. Since then we have been actively reaching out to and supporting other communities affected not just by ANE but other pipeline infrastructure projects. We believe ‘the louder the voice, the stronger the message’ and we are focused on growing an understanding within these communities, to create a collective force poised to fight against any and all future fossil fuel projects. Under ANE, the compressor station would be sited on a 100 plus acre site. Despite the project withdrawal, we seek to have a vital role in stopping any future pipeline proposals locally and regionally.
