Our purpose is to offer our community and its children an opportunity to participate in growing their own food, and teach kids important skills through expeditionary learning in a natural outdoor environment, through gardening. Our group is passionate about healthy eating, practical education and environmental sustainability. Every single plant grown in our forest is edible, and free for the community. We have an open policy for any community member or community-based small business to use the space to grow food, consume what is grown, or simply enjoy what this urban garden has to offer.
