- Continue community initiatives that create healthly, just, safe and environmentally sustainable communities, through gardens access
- To assist individuals and families to address issues of food inequity and food insecurity, relative to community health
- To work collaboratively with NEKCA (local agency through which free seeds are made available) to provide opportunities for self-reliance in concert with improved diet and overall health
- To connect gardeners with garden spaces and other individuals in a way that creates "community" in an area of increasing transigience, and increase educational opportunities, based on communal knowledge
- To provide an opportunity for home schoolers / other groups to learn about their food, where it comes from, how it is prepared and preserved.
