To create a garden where the community can come to read and a space where garden or farm-based education can be used for the community. The library has not only a lot fo resources directly pertaining to gardening and farm based education, but it is also a space where young children can be exposed to gardening and the importance of farm based education. This collaboration between Meghan Steward and Molly Veysey at the Leach Public Library hopes to improve communal involvement with the focus of this involvement being on farm-to-school education and a place where children as well as community members can connect with each other through gardening.
