The residents at Stonecrest I & II have had the community garden since 2011.  There are a few residents who do a lot of the physical labor due to some of the residents are unable to do alot of the work.  Everyone shares the food and we also have community dinners together with the food we grow.  We have had a volunteer from Rippling Waters in the past to assist us with planting and maintaining the gardens but they have recently gone out of business.  Our Resident Service Coordinator from Avesta Housing helps us get the compost and the plants/seeds.  Our garden beds are in need of repair. Most of the residents at Stonecrest I & II live on a fixed income and are unable to pay for the repairs of the beds.  We have a contact that would help us rebuild the beds if we can pay for the materials.
