Our purpose is to act as a catalyst for the creation of local food aggregation, processing and distribution infrastructure within the Kearsarge area, as well as to educate the community on the importance of local food and healthy eating. To that effect, we are undertaking the following objectives:A. To create more reliable and convenient access to sustainable local foods through the creation of a physical and virtual food hub.B. To act as a catalyst for the growth of the local food economy by facilitating discussion and supporting the key players: farmers, processors, distributors and consumers.C. To educate the community on the importance and interconnectivity of local food, healthy eating and sustainability.D. To reach out to underserved populations and help provide ease of access to healthy local foods.
