Our purpose is to end hunger in our area. We like to call it F.I.S.H. FISH stands for Farming Initiative to Stop Hunger. Living Word Church is a non-denominational, Bible-teaching church. We believe in meeting the needs if all people. So, we did research on our area and determined what was the best way to do so. Our church is in the poorest county of the state of Alabama, Sumter County. So, we're starting a five acre community garden to combat lack in our area. All harvest will be distributed freely to citizens in our community.
