To date, residential solar power has been largely the domain of high-income homeowners, with other consumer segments – those who rent their homes, have an insufficient credit score, or possess a roof not optimized for solar – effectively shut out of the solar market.Solstice Initiative is the first social enterprise dedicated to expanding affordable solar power to every American household, particularly the 77.5 million individuals that rent their homes and make less than $50,000 per year.
