Our Purpose

We are a climate action network made up of engaged volunteers who work with the media, organize events, educate their communities, lobby lawmakers, and more. We're currently focusing on two specific statewide campaigns:1) Climate Legacy: We’re working to turn the tide on fossil fuels by banning coal, fracking and tar sands, stopping the development of new fossil fuel infrastructure, expanding the use of renewables, and setting a price on carbon pollution.2) Divestment from Fossil Fuels: We’re working to bring about divestment of funds from the oil, gas and coal companies that are destroying our climate. In addition to the two statewide priority campaigns, we're working on a number of local initiatives, including efforts to pass a carbon tax, improve public transportation, and more.
