Climate change is an issue that each of us faces. Biking to work instead of driving, taking shorter showers, weatherizing our homes-- these are all actions that help combat climate change. Unfortunately, this is not enough. In order to reduce our impact on the environment, we must transform our energy supply from toxic, fossil fuel burning resources to clean, naturally renewable energy: solar, wind, biomass, geothermal, and hydropower. REV's mission is two-fold, first to drive and increase the growth of renewables and efficiency in Vermont through public education, business promotion, and shaping energy legislation at the statehouse. Second, to transform Vermont's economy with sustainable energy jobs and ensure a local, renewable energy future that promotes self-reliance and energy & economic security.
